A Global Community
With over 1000 members from across 6 continents, we’re possibly one of the fastest growing MSK Radiology case sharing groups in the world.
What started as a simple email chain among a handful of radiologists over 17 years ago has grown into an on-line community of over 1,030 members and counting, with the mission to create a space for sub-specialists with an interest in MSK images to share cases from around the world.
What sets OCAD apart from other MSK organizations is that we are completely free and volunteer run, beholden to no outside interests, financial pressures or governing bodies. Our mission is to share interesting cases, provide diagnostic support and, in the process, help educate the member participants so that we, our referrers and patients might benefit. It’s all about being by the people and for the people in our virtual Global Community.
Events
OCAD currently offers a monthly Case Conference series in collaboration between OCAD and the Rio MSK Imaging Group and a new weekly OCAD Multidisciplinary Lecture Series given by our esteemed clinical colleagues from around the world. Both series focus on a variety of topics relevant to our practice. All events are scheduled live on Zoom and are made available for free, as video-on-demand through this site.
How it Works
- Sign up and wait for approval to access Videos and Archive pages. You can create an account here.
- Note that ALL archived cases are automatically archived from the OCAD googlegroup. If you are not a member of the googlegroup and would like to join, you can request membership on this Website Account registration page. You cannot post cases to the archive from this website.
- When you follow up on your own cases posted through the googlegroup, please submit feedback in the Comment field in the Archive. All cases may be located using the search function for any word in the subject line or body of the initial post.
- Other website users are welcome to leave comments in the Comment field of archived cases.
